"We have acquired several of Ken Richards paintings over the past fifteen years. Though much of his work are scenes of New England and Greece, Ken's skill as a landscape painter made him our first choice for the task of capturing the mystique and the grandeur  of an ancient place in Colorado, Mesa Verde. Ken's interest in indigenous Americans provided a complementary influence for this project. The merger of these two resulted in a magnificent painting that we proudly display in our collection."
